Customer Engineer, AI Natives, Junior Talent Programme (Arabic, English)

About the role

As a Customer Engineer in the AI Natives Junior Talent Programme, you will support Google Cloud’s pre‑sales lifecycle by building rapid prototypes, demos, and technical solutions for customers across the region. You will work closely with senior CEs and sales teams, translating customer needs into actionable cloud architectures while leveraging AI tools and services.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with sales and senior CEs to understand customer environments and technical requirements.
• Design, build, and debug real‑time prototypes and interactive demos on Google Cloud.
• Provide architecture advisory, focusing on AI and platform services, to drive technical wins.
• Collaborate with product, marketing, and engineering teams to stay current on cloud and AI trends.
• Configure developer environments using Docker, Linux command‑line tools, and cloud infrastructure.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience.
• Fluent in English and Arabic, with strong communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work in collaborative, fast‑changing environments.
• Interest in AI, cloud technologies, and continuous learning.

Required skills

• Programming languages: Python, Go, Java, C++.
• Fundamental data structures and algorithms.
• Experience with SQL or NoSQL databases, APIs, and HTTP.
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure concepts.
• Docker and basic Linux command‑line proficiency.
• Debugging and troubleshooting skills.
• Exposure to Large Language Model APIs, prompt engineering, vector databases, Retrieval‑Augmented Generation, or conversational agents.
