Customer Service Officer – Arabic Speaker

About the role

We are looking for a Customer Service Officer who speaks Arabic to deliver exceptional food and beverage service to guests at VOX Cinemas. The role ensures a high standard of hospitality, creating memorable cinema experiences for every visitor.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and assist with ticket purchases, seat selections and promotions at counters or digital kiosks.
• Handle cash, card and digital transactions accurately using the POS system.
• Provide information on movie schedules, loyalty programmes and ongoing promotions.
• Upsell tickets, combo deals and retail items to maximise revenue.
• Address customer inquiries, feedback and complaints professionally.
• Maintain clean, organised and presentable box office, lobby and service counters.
• Monitor customer flow to prevent queues and coordinate with cinema operations and F&B teams.
• Record transactions, refunds and generate required reports.
• Support colleagues during peak times, special events and promotions.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year experience in food & beverage or hospitality (cinema or restaurant experience preferred).
• Strong communication and customer‑service skills with a friendly, professional attitude.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced, guest‑facing environment.
• Flexible to work shifts, including evenings, weekends and public holidays.
• Adherence to hygiene, grooming and uniform standards at all times.

Required skills

• Operation of point‑of‑sale (POS) systems.
