Digital Print & Fabrication Operator

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Digital Print & Fabrication Operator to join our production team in Doha. The role involves operating a range of digital printing and fabrication equipment to deliver high‑quality branding, exhibition and signage projects.

Key responsibilities

• Operate large‑ and small‑format digital printers (UV, solvent, eco‑solvent, latex) and related finishing equipment such as CNC routers, plotters, laser cutters and laminators.
• Prepare substrates, inks and materials, perform test prints, and adjust settings for alignment, sizing and colour accuracy.
• Cut, trim, laminate, mount, route and assemble finished pieces using materials like vinyl, acrylic, MDF, foam board, aluminum, PVC, fabric and paper.
• Prepare and modify artwork files in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign; verify print‑ready files (AI, PDF, PSD, EPS) and manage production queues with RIP software.
• Conduct basic colour calibration, profiling and quality checks; perform routine cleaning, preventive maintenance and minor mechanical troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with designers, project managers and production staff to ensure accurate job execution and maintain production records.

Required profile

• Technical Diploma or certification in Printing Technology, Graphic Arts, Manufacturing or a related field.
• Proven experience operating digital printing and CNC/fabrication machinery.
• Strong knowledge of colour management, print quality control and ability to read technical drawings and job instructions.
• Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills and commitment to health, safety and quality standards.

Required skills

• Operation of UV, solvent, eco‑solvent and latex digital printers.
• CNC router, plotter, laser cutter and laminator operation.
• Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop proficiency (basic InDesign knowledge).
• RIP software usage and production queue management.
• Colour calibration, profiling and quality inspection.
• Mechanical troubleshooting of printing and fabrication equipment.
