About the role

Waldorf Astoria Doha West Bay is looking for a Director of Food & Drinks to lead its dining operations. The role suits a hospitality leader with a proven record in luxury hotel food and beverage management, who can drive guest satisfaction, operational excellence and financial performance across several outlets.

Key responsibilities

• Define the F&B operational strategy, leading the department toward maximum profitability and guest satisfaction through quality, service and marketing standards.
• Plan and oversee the administrative and operational functions, including budgeting, forecasting and policy implementation.
• Control food, beverage and labour costs while growing revenue through marketing initiatives and service improvements.
• Build a high-performing team through performance management, professional development and recognition programmes.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation and alcohol awareness regulations.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years as Director of Food & Beverage or Food & Drinks in a luxury hotel.
• Proven experience managing at least 5 restaurants and bars in a luxury hotel or integrated resort.
• Gulf region experience is essential; UAE and Qatar experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, commercial acumen and ability to lead large, diverse teams and grow revenue while keeping luxury service standards.
