Director of Sales

About the role

The Director of Sales will lead revenue growth and market expansion for our hotel. Reporting to senior management, you will shape sales strategy, nurture key client relationships, and inspire a high‑performing sales team.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic sales plans aligned with hotel objectives.
• Lead, coach and motivate the sales team to achieve and exceed targets.
• Conduct market analysis to identify opportunities and monitor competitive trends.
• Manage key client relationships, negotiate major contracts and partnerships.
• Collaborate with marketing to create sales collateral and promotional material.
• Prepare accurate sales forecasts, reports and budget monitoring.
• Coordinate sales‑related events, trade shows and industry exhibitions.
• Work closely with revenue management and reservations to optimize room revenue.
• Ensure compliance with ethical standards, health, safety and environmental policies.

Required profile

• Proven senior sales leadership experience, preferably in hospitality.
• Strong track record of achieving revenue targets and driving market growth.
• Excellent negotiation, relationship‑building and communication skills.
