Dispatcher - Kitchens

About the role

The Kitchen Dispatch Lead coordinates the timely and efficient dispatch of food orders from the operating brand to riders. Working closely with kitchen staff, delivery riders, suppliers and customer service, the role ensures smooth operations, compliance with food safety standards and achievement of kitchen KPIs.

Key responsibilities

• Complete shift checklists (opening, mid, closing) and ensure tech and internet connectivity throughout the shift.
• Supervise and train the dispatch team, providing ongoing support.
• Manage order dispatch from partners to riders, resolving any delivery issues.
• Ensure partners follow food safety regulations and maintain high hygiene standards.
• Conduct regular food safety checks, audits and maintain kitchen cleanliness.
• Maintain accurate communication between customers, riders and dispatchers.
• Report and rectify operational problems to kitchen managers.
• Track and improve kitchen performance metrics such as FIR, AVTC, Vendor Delay and Vendor Net Fail.
• Verify visitor health declarations and questionnaires before kitchen entry.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of experience in dispatch operations or logistics.
• Proficiency with basic computer applications.
• Ability to gather and analyse basic data.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends and holidays.
