Doorman - Fairmont Doha

About the role

Fairmont Doha, a member of the Accor network, is looking for a Doorman. As the first point of contact for guests, you will create a memorable arrival and departure experience with a warm welcome, personalized assistance and elegant hospitality that reflects the Fairmont brand. You will also ensure smooth traffic flow at the hotel entrance and uphold the highest standards of luxury service.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly on arrival with courtesy, professionalism and grace.
• Assist with doors, luggage, transportation and directions, and recognize returning guests by name when possible.
• Escort guests to the lobby and coordinate with Bell Attendants for luggage handling.
• Manage vehicle flow at the main entrance safely and efficiently, and assist with valet coordination.
• Keep the driveway and entrance areas clean, organized and free of obstructions.
• Liaise with Bell Desk, Valet, Concierge and Front Office teams, and share guest arrivals, VIP status and special requests.
• Help with courier deliveries, taxis, ride requests and private transport arrangements.
• Report suspicious activity to security and support emergency procedures such as crowd control and evacuation.
• Maintain impeccable grooming and follow Fairmont grooming standards.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a luxury hotel or guest service role preferred.
• Fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage.
• Physically able to stand for long periods and lift luggage when required.
