Driver Development Specialist

About the role

Agroshipping LLC is seeking a Driver Development Specialist to design, deliver and manage driver training programs for air‑side operations in Doha. The role combines classroom instruction, driving‑simulator sessions and practical on‑site driving to ensure high‑quality driver performance.

Key responsibilities

• Act as an ambassador for Group Learning and Development, building relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Analyse training needs, design curricula and develop training materials using best‑practice driver training methodology.
• Facilitate workshops, classroom sessions, simulator scenarios and both online and clinical theory tests.
• Coordinate program logistics, including venue arrangements and simulator setup.
• Coach drivers and front‑line staff, creating action plans and monitoring progress.
• Research and recommend improvements to training programs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Valid Qatar driver’s license and defensive driving certificate (preferably NSC).
• Minimum 5 years of classroom training experience and 5 years in aviation ground operations.
• Experience operating vehicles in restricted air‑side areas.
• Preferred: formal driver‑trainer certification and air‑side vehicle operator permit.
