Driver – Sales Delivery (Heavy Vehicle)

About the role

This position is for a professional driver responsible for delivering sales orders safely and efficiently across Qatar. The role involves operating a medium‑category vehicle, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining high customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Operate the assigned vehicle in a safe and courteous manner.
• Keep the vehicle clean inside and out.
• Report any accidents or incidents immediately to management.
• Coordinate with Fleet Administrator and Fleet Technical for scheduled maintenance.
• Ensure 100% loading of dedicated stock and accurate, timely delivery of picked orders.
• Plan efficient delivery sequences together with the Delivery Assistant.
• Process all supporting delivery documentation accurately.
• Adhere to health and safety procedures.
• Interact with customers at the point of delivery to ensure satisfaction.
• Supervise supply laborers jointly with the Delivery Assistant.
• Interface with warehouse, distribution staff, sales representatives, and document controllers as needed.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of heavy‑vehicle driving experience, including at least 2 years delivering for an FMCG company.
• Male, aged 20‑35 years.
• Physically fit to lift and move loads of up to 20 kg, including stairs.
• Basic English reading, writing, speaking, and arithmetic skills.
• Flexible to work morning or evening shifts, occasional straight shifts, holidays, and off‑days as required.
• Valid Qatar driving licence in the medium category; heavy (trailer) licence is a plus.
• At least high‑school education.
• No health issues related to blood sugar, cholesterol, or back pain.

Required skills

• Medium‑category driving licence.
• Heavy‑trailer driving licence (preferred).
• Basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting knowledge.
