About the role
The E‑Commerce Executive will drive the online shopping experience across PC and mobile platforms, managing product listings, promotions, and performance improvement initiatives for both pure‑play and retailer e‑commerce sites. The role works closely with partners, internal divisions and key accounts to ensure content accuracy, availability and growth in the digital channel.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and execute product listings with e‑retailers, ensuring accurate and up‑to‑date content (packaging, pricing, origin).
- Ensure availability of required SKUs on all e‑retailer platforms according to principals’ minimum service levels.
- Negotiate e‑commerce contracts with key accounts, supported by DMs and GMs.
- Coordinate implementation of success stories for the Qatar market and agree on yearly KPIs and promotion calendars with partners.
- Analyse monthly channel performance, report gaps and sales growth to internal teams and principals.
- Collaborate with divisional management, demand & supply managers, trade marketing and warehouse teams to align sales, supply and delivery.
- Challenge internal orders to achieve satisfactory service for high‑priority digital commerce customers, ensuring full quantity processing.
- Manage returns coordination with partners and communicate execution gaps to sales.
- Work with FMCG divisions to prioritize e‑com bundles and maintain one‑month cost coverage.
- Adjust credit limits for e‑commerce customers (Talabat, Snoonu, Instashop, etc.) on a case‑by‑case basis.
- Drive category growth, sales targets and market share in the e‑commerce channel.
- Ensure implementation of agreed online activations and handle account opening formalities and T&C’s.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Marketing, Advertising or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in retail, FMCG or online service providers.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Good contract negotiation abilities.
- Proficiency in English; Arabic knowledge is a plus.
- Well‑versed in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Knowledge of a Content Management System (CMS).
