Electrical Technician

About the role

Qureos Inc is seeking an experienced Electrical Technician to join its plant operations in Doha. You will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting a wide range of electrical equipment in an industrial environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on motors, pumps, MCCs, VFDs, switchgear, transformers and LV/MV power distribution systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair PLC and SCADA‑related components, electrical panels, breakers, relays and control circuits.
• Assist with plant start‑up, shutdown and commissioning activities.
• Monitor electrical performance, identify potential failures and ensure compliance with LOTO and permit‑to‑work procedures.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, reports and spare‑parts inventory.
• Support emergency breakdown maintenance on a shift basis.

Required profile

• Diploma/ITI/Technical Certificate in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Technology.
• 3–5 years of industrial electrical maintenance experience, preferably in water treatment, wastewater treatment or desalination plants.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, single‑line diagrams and wiring schematics.
