Electrician – Hotel Maintenance

About the role

We are looking for a passionate and dynamic Electrician to join our hotel maintenance team. You will ensure all electrical systems operate safely and efficiently, delivering high‑quality service to our guests.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain all M&E and HVAC equipment throughout the hotel, with a focus on health and safety.
• Perform maintenance and repairs on mechanical and electrical heating and ventilation systems.
• Fix mains and domestic single‑phase and three‑phase distribution systems, lighting, and in‑house power installations.
• Support emergency services, including fire alarms, standby power, batteries, and generators.
• Control M&E related processes such as equipment, televisions, hair dryers, shavers, sockets, and guest/service lifts.
• Prepare sketches or follow blueprints to locate wiring and equipment, ensuring compliance with building and safety codes.
• Use a variety of tools and testing equipment, including oscilloscopes, ammeters, test lamps, power tools, and measuring devices.

Required profile

• Qualified electrician with a diploma in electro‑technical services and basic high‑school qualification.
• Proven knowledge of electrical maintenance and operation of hotel equipment.
• Good command of English and ability to diagnose and rectify faults.
• Self‑motivated, hands‑on, flexible and able to adapt to unpredictable events.
• Pro‑active, reliable, detail‑oriented and able to stay calm under pressure in a busy environment.
