About the role
The Technician performs preventive and corrective maintenance, assists the team, and supports improvement efforts to increase performance, reporting any equipment faults to the Engineer, TO or STO.
Key responsibilities
- Perform assigned preventive maintenance (PPM) correctly and on time.
- Carry out corrective tasks promptly while ensuring high‑quality work.
- Assist subcontractors with the work assigned to them.
- Report defects, breakdowns, damages, etc., to the Fault Reporting Center or engineers.
- Follow the duty roster and report spare‑part requirements and availability.
- Take care of tools, test equipment and follow instructions from TO, STO and engineers.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required profile
- ITI Certificate/Diploma or equivalent.
- Knowledge of regulations such as OSHA, MSDS, NFPA, BS.
- Strong problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and within constraints.
- Teamwork orientation.
