ELV Technician – Building Management Systems (BMS) Specialist

About the role

The ELV Technician with BMS experience will install, integrate, maintain and troubleshoot extra‑low‑voltage systems across commercial facilities. The focus is on ensuring building management, HVAC, security and lighting networks run efficiently with minimal downtime.

Key responsibilities

• Operate, troubleshoot and replace field devices and cables for Building Management Systems (BMS).
• Test and commission cabling, and integrate third‑party fire alarm interfaces.
• Replace and diagnose relays, control circuits, pumps and motor control circuits (MCC).
• Maintain and troubleshoot lighting control, access control and other ELV subsystems.
• Apply communication protocols such as BACnet, IP and KNX during system integration.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of hands‑on experience with ELV and BMS installations (CCTV, access control, structured cabling, networking).
• Technical qualification or equivalent background preferred.
