Engineering Lead (Civil & Structural)

About the role

The Engineering Lead (Civil & Structural) will oversee the on‑shore EPC contractor for the delivery of all civil and structural design, material selection, technical definition and execution. The role ensures that project specifications, procedures and safety criteria are fully compliant and integrated throughout the project life‑cycle.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the civil and structural engineering discipline, coordinating design, procurement and installation activities.
• Manage the EPC contract and engineering team from award through to Provisional Acceptance Certificate (PAC).
• Maintain constructive relationships with the EPC contractor, operations, SHEQ and other stakeholders.
• Develop, update and amend policies and procedures for the on‑shore department.
• Provide technical recommendations on complex on‑shore issues and support multidisciplinary tasks.
• Introduce best practices, lessons learned and tools to improve project execution and cost efficiency.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years (96 months) of experience in civil and structural engineering, preferably on on‑shore LNG facilities.
• Proven experience managing EPC contracts and multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Strong knowledge of project specifications, design standards and safety criteria.
• Ability to collaborate with owners, shareholders, contractors, vendors and consultants.
