ERP Finance Product Manager

About the role

We are looking for an ERP Finance Product Manager to own the end‑to‑end delivery of finance‑related ERP initiatives. You will act as the bridge between finance teams and technical engineers, ensuring the ERP system delivers maximum value and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain deep knowledge of ERP finance modules (Accounting, Invoicing, Expenses, Payments, Reconciliation, Budgeting, Reporting, Tax, Multi‑company, Multi‑currency) and related integrations.
• Maintain a living catalogue of ERP features, configurations, and version updates.
• Run discovery sessions with Finance, Treasury, FP&A, Tax and other stakeholders to map processes to ERP capabilities.
• Identify gaps, misuse, manual workarounds and audit requirements; document and prioritize them.
• Own the ERP‑Finance project portfolio: intake, scoping, sprint planning, delivery, UAT, go‑live and post‑launch measurement.
• Lead Sprint 0 artifacts (Project Charter, PDD, Requirements, Delivery & Governance Plan) following the team’s SDLC framework.
• Coordinate with Digital Solutions Lead and engineers on integrations, customisations and version upgrades.
• Govern change requests, validate impact, secure approvals and protect finance close cycles.
• Understand ERP architecture to challenge scope, flag risks and prioritize work.
• Collaborate with developers on APIs, data flows and technical constraints; review specifications before development.
• Identify technical debt, performance or architectural risks and raise them proactively.
• Define and track adoption KPIs (active users, automation rate, exception rate, days‑to‑close, etc.).
• Create enablement materials, SOPs, training and runbooks; monitor usage and run targeted interventions to improve adoption.
• Serve as the dedicated ERP‑Finance partner to Finance leadership and their teams.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing ERP finance initiatives or similar product ownership roles.
• Strong understanding of finance processes and ERP finance modules.
• Ability to lead cross‑functional discovery sessions and translate business needs into technical requirements.
• Experience overseeing full project lifecycles from intake to post‑launch measurement.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, especially with finance and engineering teams.
