Event Production and Wedding Specialist

About the role

Events and Production, a division of APEX BUSINESS SOLUTIONS WLL operating under the Apex Events brand, is hiring a full-time, on-site Wedding Specialist in Doha, Qatar. The specialist plans and coordinates weddings from concept to completion, covering venue setup, décor coordination, vendor liaison and timeline management, and ensures that technical and creative elements run smoothly on the day.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate weddings from concept to completion, including venue setup, décor coordination, vendor liaison and timeline management
• Manage production logistics and oversee event rehearsals
• Ensure all technical and creative elements are executed smoothly on the event day
• Hold client consultations and develop detailed event proposals
• Manage budgets and prepare production schedules
• Monitor quality and safety standards on site
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to deliver well-organized wedding experiences

Required profile

• Experience coordinating weddings or similar large-scale events
• Prior experience in the events or hospitality industry, preferably in wedding coordination or luxury events
• Ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays as required by event schedules
• Ability to work on-site in Doha, Qatar
• Diploma or degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Business or a related field preferred

Required skills

• Hands-on event production skills, including logistics, technical requirements and on-site execution
• Budgeting: creating, tracking and optimizing event budgets
• Excellent communication with clients, vendors and internal teams
• Attention to detail, organization and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
• Basic office software and event management tools; knowledge of production equipment is an advantage
