About the role
The International Organization for Migration (IOM) is seeking an Expedited Programme Officer for its Qatar Country Programme. Reporting to the Chief of Mission and working closely with regional thematic specialists, the officer will manage and coordinate programme activities across migration management, labour mobility, and migrant protection.
Key responsibilities
- Manage, coordinate and oversee the implementation of the IOM Qatar Country Programme.
- Ensure effective liaison with government authorities, partners and donors.
- Support project implementation, reporting and capacity‑building initiatives.
- Collaborate with the Regional Office for the Middle East and North Africa and relevant IOM divisions.
Required profile
- Minimum of 60 months (5 years) of relevant professional experience.
- Ability to work under the direct supervision of the Chief of Mission and in coordination with regional and headquarters units.
