About the role

Brilliant Abaya is seeking a full‑time Fashion Designer to join its on‑site team in Doha, Qatar. You will create premium abayas and haute couture dresses that blend traditional modesty with contemporary style, catering to a discerning clientele.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop seasonal collections of abayas and haute couture garments, from initial sketches to technical drawings.
• Select appropriate fabrics, trims, and embellishments, ensuring each piece meets the brand’s standards for quality and aesthetic appeal.
• Oversee fittings, collaborate with pattern makers and tailors, and make precise adjustments to achieve flawless tailoring.
• Research fashion trends, especially modest‑wear and regional cultural norms, to keep the brand’s offerings fresh and relevant.

Required profile

• Strong portfolio showcasing work in abayas, modest wear, or haute couture.
• Hands‑on experience with embroidery and decorative techniques for luxury garments.
• Relevant qualification in Fashion Design or a related field.

Required skills

• Proficiency with design software such as Adobe Illustrator or similar tools.
• In‑depth knowledge of textiles, including fabric selection, drape, and suitability for different designs.
