About the role
The Makeup Artist provides expert makeup services to customers, including event makeup, beauty transformations, and personalized consultations. The role combines creative artistry with sales expertise to enhance the customer experience and drive store revenue.
Key responsibilities
- Apply makeup for events and individual consultations while staying current on the latest trends.
- Recommend and sell products tailored to each client’s needs, contributing to store sales targets.
- Maintain visual standards, manage stock displays, and ensure compliance with brand SOPs.
- Handle POS transactions, monitor inventory, and uphold store security and hygiene protocols.
Required profile
- 2‑5 years of professional makeup artistry experience, preferably in a retail or beauty environment.
- Strong communication and customer‑service skills with a focus on building client rapport.
Required skills
- Makeup application techniques and product knowledge.
- POS transaction processing and basic inventory management.
