F&B Service Expert (Waiter & Waitress)

About the role

As an F&B Service Expert at Sheraton Doha, you will create memorable dining experiences for guests by delivering attentive, friendly, and efficient service. You will work closely with the kitchen and front‑of‑house teams to ensure every meal is enjoyed in a safe and welcoming environment.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and arrange dining tables, ensuring proper presentation and cleanliness.
• Take guest orders, communicate accurately with the kitchen, and serve food and beverages promptly.
• Maintain a tidy work area, replenish supplies, and adhere to health‑and‑safety standards.
• Assist guests with menu information, answer questions, and handle billing transactions.
• Move, lift, and carry items up to 25 lb unaided (up to 50 lb with assistance) and navigate varied floor surfaces safely.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Less than one year of related food‑and‑beverage service experience.
• No prior supervisory experience required.
• Ability to stand, walk, and move for extended periods.

Required skills

• Basic reading and visual verification of menu items.
• Effective communication with guests and kitchen staff.
• Physical ability to lift, carry, and maneuver objects as described.
