Field Engineer – Offshore Installation & Loadout

About the role

The Field Engineer will support offshore installation projects by applying technical knowledge and practical field experience. Working under moderate supervision, the role focuses on solving straightforward yard and offshore challenges while ensuring safety and quality standards are met.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure all work complies with Quality, Health, Safety & Environment policies.
• Travel offshore and be available on‑shore as required.
• Develop vessel layout and barge loadout plans for safe material transportation.
• Participate in constructability reviews, hazard identification studies and job safety analyses.
• Review project drawings, report discrepancies and recommend technical changes.
• Prepare offshore installation procedures, material lists and loadout lists.
• Coordinate with Marine, E&M, Welding, Quality, HSES, Survey & ROV, Diving, logistics and subcontractors.
• Witness and inspect pre‑rigging, loadouts, sea fastening and receipt of fabricated structures.
• Develop checklists and verify loadouts with production engineers.

Required profile

• Solid conceptual knowledge of field and yard operations.
• Ability to work with moderate guidance and make sound technical judgments.
• Understanding of key business drivers and safety‑critical processes.
• Willingness to travel offshore and adapt to on‑site requirements.
