Finance Assistant

About the role

The Finance Assistant will support the finance and accounting functions of our hotel operations in Doha. This full‑time position involves handling financial data, maintaining records, and ensuring accurate processing of invoices and payroll information.

Key responsibilities

• Check figures, postings, and documents for correct entry, mathematical accuracy, and proper coding.
• Organise, secure and maintain files, records, cash and cash equivalents in line with policies.
• Record, store, access and analyse computerized financial information.
• Maintain accurate electronic spreadsheets for financial and accounting data.
• Classify, code and summarise numerical data using journals, ledgers and computer systems.
• Prepare, maintain and distribute financial, accounting, auditing and payroll reports.
• Complete period‑end closing procedures and related reports.
• Prepare, review, reconcile and issue bills, invoices and account statements.
• Ensure accurate maintenance of employee records and uphold confidentiality.
• Support employee celebrations and adhere to company policies and professional appearance standards.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• At least 1 year of related finance or accounting experience.
• No supervisory experience required.
• Ability to lift objects up to 10 lb without assistance.
