Fleet Support & IoT Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a technically skilled Fleet Support & IoT Engineer to design, implement and maintain IoT solutions that optimise fleet operations and enhance safety. The role will work closely with operations, maintenance and IT teams to integrate hardware and software across our vehicle fleet in Doha.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and deploy IoT solutions for real‑time tracking, monitoring and reporting of fleet assets.
• Install, configure and maintain hardware and software components supporting the learning environment and vehicle telematics.
• Integrate custom software applications with existing fleet management systems and IT infrastructure.
• Maintain fleet management platforms, schedule preventive maintenance for EV and CNG vehicles, and troubleshoot system issues.
• Analyse IoT and fleet data to produce dashboards, KPI reports and actionable recommendations.
• Collaborate with operations, maintenance, IT, customer service and external suppliers to ensure seamless technology adoption.
• Stay up‑to‑date with emerging IoT, telematics, smart mobility and electric vehicle technologies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, Telecommunications or a related technical field.
• Experience with IoT solutions, fleet management systems or telematics.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to communicate technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
