Assistant Vice President – Domain Support (Qatarization)

About the role

The Assistant Vice President, Domain Support, will lead the Domain Support department within QNB, ensuring the bank’s enterprise domain network operates securely and efficiently. This senior position focuses on managing a team that maintains critical Windows‑based services and infrastructure while adhering to budgetary targets.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and develop the Domain Support team to deliver reliable domain operations.
• Maintain and support non‑core servers and applications such as Active Directory, Exchange, Archiving, Enterprise Backup, ECC, and SharePoint.
• Oversee upgrades, installations, troubleshooting, and routine maintenance activities.
• Coordinate with the Head of Technical Support and act as liaison between the team and internal/external customers.
• Ensure service delivery complies with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and internal quality standards.
• Develop and enforce hardware, software, and security standards for the enterprise domain network.
• Implement KPIs, promote cost‑conscious practices, and report performance metrics.
• Provide accurate information to auditors, compliance, financial control, and risk functions.

Required profile

• Extensive experience managing IT infrastructure teams in large enterprises.
• Strong understanding of Windows server environments and domain security policies.
• Ability to work within delegated authority limits and drive cost‑efficiency.
• Excellent communication skills for interfacing with senior management and various business units.
