Food & Beverage Captain (Arabic Speaker)

About the role

The Food & Beverage Captain will lead banquet and restaurant service for group functions at a luxury hotel in Doha. Reporting to the F&B manager, you will ensure seamless coordination between the kitchen, service staff and guests, while maintaining the highest standards of presentation and hospitality.

Key responsibilities

• Communicate service requirements to chefs and stewards throughout events.
• Prepare and present group charges and checks for payment.
• Set up banquet rooms, restaurants and coffee‑break stations, ensuring proper centrepieces, table settings and cleanliness of china, glass and silver.
• Check in with guests to confirm satisfaction and address special dietary needs, allergies and requests.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas and adhere to all safety, security and company policies.
• Uphold professional uniform standards and present a courteous, welcoming demeanor to all guests.
• Assist with lifting, moving and arranging items up to 25 lb and stand or walk for extended periods.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in food & beverage service.
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
• Fluent Arabic speaker with strong English communication skills.
