Fraud Monitoring Analyst

About the role

The Fraud Monitoring Analyst joins the bank’s 24/7 Fraud Operations function in Doha. You will continuously monitor, investigate and escalate suspicious transactions, ensuring compliance with QCB AFCM requirements and protecting customers from fraud.

Key responsibilities

• Perform continuous (365/7/24) monitoring of fraud alerts generated by the system and other channels.
• Review, triage and prioritize alerts according to risk‑based thresholds and escalation criteria.
• Contact customers when required, verify transactions, and gather information using approved scripts.
• Escalate high‑risk, confirmed, or complex cases to senior analysts following escalation matrices and AFCM response timelines.
• Document all actions accurately in the fraud case management system and registers.
• Act as the operational point of contact for fraud reports received outside normal business hours.
• Handle fraud‑related communications from customers, other financial institutions and payment service providers.
• Maintain strict confidentiality, data privacy and adhere to internal controls and information‑security standards.

Required profile

• Professional experience in fraud monitoring, investigation or related banking operations.
• Ability to work night shifts, weekends and public holidays.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Understanding of regulatory requirements such as QCB AFCM.
