Freelance AI Trainer – Civil Engineer & Python Expert

About the role

We are looking for a freelance AI trainer who combines civil engineering expertise with strong Python programming skills. You will work on project‑based assignments for Mindrift, designing computational engineering problems that help test and improve AI systems.

Key responsibilities

• Design original computational engineering problems that simulate real‑world civil engineering workflows.
• Create problem statements that require Python code to solve calculations, simulations, and iterative numerical methods.
• Ensure problems are computationally intensive, involving system design, optimization, and analysis.
• Base tasks on actual research challenges or practical engineering applications.
• Validate solutions using Python and standard engineering libraries, and document problem statements with verified answers.

Required profile

• Degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field.
• Proficiency in Python for numerical validation (C1+ written English).
• At least 2 years of professional experience (applied work, research, or teaching).
• Understanding of practical engineering constraints and approximations.
