Front of House Supervisor

About the role

The Front of House Supervisor oversees daily shift operations, ensuring that guests receive an exceptional experience while maintaining high standards of product quality, cleanliness, and safety. Reporting to the Store Manager, the role combines people leadership with operational oversight in a fast‑paced hospitality environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the FOH team during each shift, modelling respectful and guest‑focused behaviour.
• Address immediate issues, provide clear direction, and motivate staff to achieve service goals.
• Train, orient and monitor new team members, ensuring proper coverage and floor leadership during busy periods.
• Handle guest interactions, resolve complaints promptly, and turn negative situations into positive outcomes.
• Enforce Tim Hortons operating standards, product merchandising, and cash procedures.
• Maintain operational efficiency through schedule management and adherence to store policies (cash, breaks, food safety).
• Monitor health and safety practices, report incidents, and use personal protective equipment as required.
• Complete shift documentation such as waste records, store checklists, and manager walk‑throughs.

Required profile

• At least 1 month of experience in a supervisory or front‑of‑house role.
• Strong people‑management abilities with a focus on teamwork and guest satisfaction.
• Ability to work flexible shift patterns and perform multiple roles during peak times.
• Good understanding of health‑and‑safety regulations and cash handling procedures.
