General Field Specialist - Wireline Services

About the role

Join Baker Hughes' Oilfield Services team in Doha as a General Field Specialist – Wireline Services. You will provide wellsite support and guidance to global customers, solving complex problems with the latest wireline technology.

Key responsibilities

• Perform day‑to‑day wellsite activities with minimal supervision.
• Evaluate completed work to ensure objectives are met.
• Assist with completions logging and completions services at both workshop and wellsite.
• Carry out minor equipment maintenance and support actuating of completions equipment.
• Conduct all activities in line with company HSE policies, legal requirements and core values.
• Execute responsibilities safely according to equipment and logistics manuals.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Wireline Services.
• Previous experience with Baker Hughes.
• Offshore experience; rig‑less background preferred.
• Hands‑on experience with Open Hole and Cased Hole operations.
• Industry knowledge and product‑line training.
