General Manager – Real Estate

About the role

A diversified investment group in Qatar is seeking a senior, commercially driven General Manager to lead and grow its Real Estate Business. The role oversees a varied portfolio of commercial, office, warehouse, and accommodation assets, driving performance and expansion.

Key responsibilities

• Lead overall strategy and operations of the Real Estate Business.
• Take full ownership of the portfolio's P&L, budgeting, revenue, EBITDA and cash flow.
• Drive occupancy, rental income and asset‑level profitability.
• Develop and execute leasing strategies, including negotiations, renewals and tenant management.
• Identify and implement opportunities to improve performance and value of existing assets.
• Oversee property operations, maintenance, contractors and service providers.
• Evaluate redevelopment, repositioning and new investment opportunities.
• Build and manage a high‑performing real estate team and establish a 3‑5 year strategic plan.

Required profile

• 10+ years of relevant real estate experience with senior management responsibility.
• Proven experience managing a diversified real estate portfolio, including commercial, industrial, warehouse and accommodation assets.
• Demonstrated ownership of P&L, budgeting, revenue, EBITDA and cash flow.
• Strong track record in leasing, occupancy improvement, rental negotiations and tenant management.
• Experience in asset optimisation and value‑creation across a portfolio.
• Commercial, financial and analytical capabilities with strong negotiation and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Hands‑on leadership style combined with strategic thinking.
• Preferable experience in Qatar/GCC real estate and with family‑owned or diversified investment groups.
