Groundskeeper

About the role

The Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Doha is seeking a reliable Groundskeeper to keep the hotel’s outdoor areas attractive and safe for guests and staff. You will work on lawns, flower beds, pathways, and other landscaped features, ensuring a pristine appearance at all times.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain the appearance of lawns, flower beds, fountains, planters and other grounds features.
• Mow, edge, rake leaves, trim, and perform general lawn‑maintenance tasks.
• Water, weed, and care for flower beds, baskets and boxes.
• Clean, refuel and perform routine maintenance on all equipment after use.
• Remove trash from exterior bins and keep sidewalks, driveways, cart paths and parking areas in good repair.
• Operate tractors, trucks or utility vehicles to transport tools and supplies.
• Follow safety, security and company policies; report any hazards or equipment issues.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Less than one year of related grounds‑keeping experience.
• No supervisory experience required.
• Ability to stand, walk or sit for extended periods and lift objects up to 50 lb.
• Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
