Health Club Attendant

About the role

We are looking for a motivated, customer‑focused Health Club Attendant to join the team at Mövenpick Hotel Doha. The role ensures a clean, safe and welcoming environment across the health club, gym, pool and surrounding areas while delivering excellent guest service.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome and assist guests in a friendly, professional manner.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the health club, gym, pool and changing areas.
• Monitor safe use of gym equipment and enforce pool safety rules at all times.
• Supervise the pool area, set up pool deck, sunbeds, towels and fitness zones.
• Provide towels, amenities and respond to guest requests promptly.
• Report maintenance issues or safety hazards immediately.
• Assist in emergency situations and follow established safety procedures.
• Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude throughout the shift.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a gym, hotel health club or pool environment preferred.
• Basic knowledge of pool safety and gym equipment.
• Lifeguard certification where applicable.
• Good communication and guest service skills.
• Physically fit and able to work in active indoor/outdoor settings.
• Fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends and holidays.
