Heavy Vehicle Driver

About the role

Qatar Airways is looking for a Heavy Vehicle Driver to operate QDF heavy trucks, transporting stock and materials between the Air Cargo complex, QDF Warehouse and other locations across Doha. The role involves loading, unloading and ensuring safe, timely deliveries in an airport environment.

Key responsibilities

• Drive QDF heavy trucks to collect and deliver stock and materials to various QDF locations, the Air Cargo complex and the warehouse.
• Load and unload cages, pallets and boxes using tail lifts, pallet lifters and manual handling, handling items up to 75 kg.
• Transport MOI/customs‑inspected goods from airside to landside, ensuring compliance with security and safety procedures.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness, schedule maintenance and report any incidents or issues promptly.
• Complete required documentation and incident reports in accordance with airport regulations.

Required profile

• High school qualification with at least 1 year of related experience, or a bachelor’s degree.
• Valid Heavy/Medium Truck driving licence (Qatar).
• Ability to read, write and understand instructions in English.
• Pass the AVOP course within three months of joining.
• Physical ability to lift/move goods up to 75 kg and operate pallet lifters.
