About the role
Mondrian Doha, a Mondrian hotel with food and nightlife venues across eight locations, is looking for a Hostess. The role greets guests at the restaurant and bar, manages reservations and keeps the dining area clean and well organised.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain a friendly, diplomatic manner with all prospective guests wishing to enter the restaurant or bar
- Provide friendly, courteous and professional service at all times
- Document reservation details (time, date, number of covers, name/room number, contact number)
- Prepare table allocations from the reservation book before each meal period
- Communicate clearly with management
- Know all menu items and prepare and check tables before service
- Clear and reset tables, keeping the restaurant, chairs, floors and service station clean and orderly
- Deliver food from the kitchen following company procedures
- Complete opening and closing procedures and cleaning duties within allocated times
Required profile
- Assertive and attentive at all times
- Thorough knowledge of product and service procedures
- Proficiency in efficient table maintenance
