Interior Designer – Restaurant Fit‑Out Projects

About the role

We are looking for a talented and detail‑oriented Interior Designer to join Sterling Restaurants. In this full‑time, on‑site position you will shape restaurant environments through space planning, architectural drawings, and the selection of furniture, fixtures and equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Produce detailed 2D drawings, design presentations and 3D visualisations for fit‑out projects.
• Develop interior concepts, mood boards, material palettes and layout plans.
• Coordinate interior details for ceilings, flooring, walls, joinery, furniture and finishes.
• Collaborate with project, site, MEP and technical teams to ensure design intent is implemented.
• Conduct site visits, resolve on‑site design issues and review shop drawings and material samples.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and assist with fire‑safety and LPG compliance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Diploma in Interior Design, Architecture or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in interior design and fit‑out projects, preferably in hospitality.
• Strong understanding of construction details, materials and finishes.
• Excellent communication, coordination and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Experience with 3D design software (e.g., SketchUp, Revit, 3ds Max).
