IT Project Manager – Asset & Wealth Management

About the role

We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead Asset & Wealth Management and banking transformation initiatives in Doha. The role will oversee end‑to‑end delivery of complex projects across front‑, middle‑ and back‑office systems, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full project lifecycle from initiation to closure.
• Gather and document business and system requirements.
• Identify process gaps and drive improvement solutions.
• Lead delivery of Asset & Wealth Management and banking IT projects.
• Coordinate with business, operations, IT teams, and external vendors.
• Conduct workshops and stakeholder meetings.
• Prepare Business Requirements Documents (BRD), Functional Requirements Documents (FRD), and business impact analyses.
• Oversee System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and production deployment.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
• Provide regular status updates to senior stakeholders.

Required profile

• 10+ years of IT Project Management experience in the banking sector.
• Strong background in Asset & Wealth Management or Capital Markets.
• Knowledge of custody, securities, and investment processes.
• Proven stakeholder and vendor management capabilities.
• Experience applying both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
