IT Project Manager (Finance Background – Arabic Speaker)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager with a strong finance background and fluency in Arabic to lead and deliver IT projects for our Doha office. The role involves overseeing the full project lifecycle, coordinating internal and external stakeholders, and ensuring delivery within scope, time, budget and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Define project objectives aligned with business needs and develop detailed project plans.
• Manage project execution, including design, procurement, construction, testing, commissioning and hand‑over.
• Lead cross‑functional teams, third‑party contractors and consultants, ensuring clear responsibilities and effective communication.
• Monitor progress, budgets and quality, providing regular reports to senior management.
• Conduct post‑project reviews, capture lessons learned and drive continuous improvement of project management tools.
• Oversee business needs analysis, develop business cases and ensure alignment with corporate architecture.
• Manage people performance, set objectives, provide feedback and foster a high‑performance culture.
• Ensure compliance with departmental policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• BSc degree in Management, Finance, Computer Science, Technology or Engineering.
• PMI‑PMP certification preferred.
• 8‑10 years of project management experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within a financial institution.
• Fluent in English and Arabic (mandatory).
• Experience in digital product or service development (mobile or web) and working in Agile teams.
