Transaction Banking IT Project Manager

About the role

We are looking for a Transaction Banking IT Project Manager to lead complex banking technology and digital transformation initiatives for our operations in Qatar. The role focuses on migrating legacy transaction banking platforms to modern digital solutions while ensuring seamless data migration, testing, and post‑go‑live stabilization.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end delivery of transaction banking and corporate banking system projects, including OBDX and related digital platforms.
• Design and execute legacy system migration strategies covering data migration, reconciliation, cut‑over planning, testing (SIT/UAT), production deployment and post‑migration support.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams—business, technology, operations, compliance and vendors—to meet project timelines, scope and budget.
• Manage project governance, risk, issue resolution, change control and senior stakeholder reporting in line with PMP best practices.

Required profile

• 10‑15 years of progressive experience in banking technology project management, with a strong focus on transaction banking platforms.
• Proven track record of delivering large‑scale digital migration or implementation programmes in a banking environment.
• PMP‑certified with solid knowledge of project planning, budgeting, risk management and stakeholder communication.
• Deep business analyst expertise across transaction banking products, channels and operational processes.
