Junior Accountant

About the role

Arkan Marketing is looking for a detail‑oriented Junior Accountant to support its finance team in a fast‑paced creative agency environment. You will be responsible for day‑to‑day bookkeeping, reconciliations and basic financial reporting, using both Excel and Tally ERP.

Key responsibilities

• Record daily high‑volume transactions and maintain accurate financial records in Excel and Tally ERP.
• Monitor invoices, receipts, payments and other financial documents.
• Reconcile bank statements and cash reports.
• Assist the Senior Accountant with month‑end closing activities.
• Prepare basic financial reports and support external audit processes.
• Ensure compliance with Qatar accounting and tax standards.
• Keep accounting records organized and up‑to‑date.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Resident in Qatar and available to start immediately.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Working knowledge of Tally ERP.
