Licensed Aircraft Technician – Paint Shop (Specialized Services)

About the role

We are seeking a Licensed Aircraft Technician for our Specialized Services Paint Shop in Doha. The role involves performing and certifying maintenance work on aircraft components, ensuring compliance with all regulations and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out scheduled and unscheduled aircraft and component maintenance in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Complete and certify maintenance tasks using authorized privileges to meet operational needs.
• Advise engineers of potential work‑related issues and implement solutions using technical expertise.
• Operate equipment safely by following instruction manuals and ensuring a safe work environment.
• Select and use the correct tools and equipment, ensuring they are calibrated and serviceable before and after use.
• Deliver maintenance tasks on time to support internal customers such as supply chain, line, and base maintenance.
• Optimize manpower and resources through effective roster management to maintain production flow.
• Prioritize work for staff, ensuring efficient resource use and meeting component release deadlines.
• Ensure staff under supervision adhere to published maintenance data (CMM, SRM) and health‑and‑safety requirements.

Required profile

• Valid licence as an Aircraft Technician with authority to certify maintenance work.
• Strong knowledge of aircraft maintenance policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to identify and communicate potential problems to engineering staff.
• Commitment to health and safety standards and quality assurance.
• Experience in managing manpower and coordinating maintenance activities.
