Lifeguard – Resort Pool

About the role

Join the hospitality team at Banana Island Resort Doha and ensure the safety of guests and staff in the resort’s swimming areas. As a certified Lifeguard, you will be the first line of protection during business hours, providing a secure and enjoyable environment for all visitors.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor designated swimming zones and enforce safety rules during posted hours.
• Maintain and set up safety equipment, including flotation devices, rescue boats, first‑aid kits, and appropriate flag signals.
• Respond promptly to emergencies, performing rescues and administering CPR or first aid as needed.
• Ensure accurate posting of pool depth, water and air temperatures, and business hours.
• Carry out additional duties assigned by management to support pool operations.

Required profile

• Valid Lifeguard certification with authorization to perform CPR and first aid.
• 2–5 years of experience in a similar lifeguarding role, preferably in a resort or hotel setting.
• Strong English communication skills and a pleasant, professional demeanor.
• Ability to work under pressure, multitask, and maintain vigilance throughout shifts.
