Machine Operator – Digital Printing & Fabrication

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Machine Operator to join our production team in Doha on an urgent basis. You will operate a range of digital printing and fabrication equipment to deliver high‑quality output for branding, events, exhibitions, signage, and other projects.

Key responsibilities

• Operate large‑ and small‑format digital printers (UV, solvent, eco‑solvent, latex) and finishing equipment such as CNC routers, plotters, laser cutters, and laminators.
• Prepare substrates, inks, and materials according to job specifications.
• Perform test prints, adjust alignment, sizing, and colour accuracy.
• Cut, trim, laminate, mount, route, and assemble finished products.
• Handle a variety of materials including vinyl, acrylic, MDF, foam board, aluminum, PVC, fabric, and paper.
• Prepare and modify artwork using Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign; verify print‑ready files (AI, PDF, PSD, EPS).
• Operate RIP software, manage production queues, and conduct basic colour calibration and profiling.
• Troubleshoot minor mechanical or software issues and perform routine cleaning, calibration, and preventive maintenance.
• Adhere to HSE standards and production quality requirements while coordinating with designers.

Required profile

• Proven experience operating digital printers and fabrication machinery.
• Strong understanding of print materials, inks, and finishing processes.
• Ability to follow safety protocols and maintain high quality standards.
• Problem‑solving mindset for minor equipment issues.

Required skills

• Operation of UV, solvent, eco‑solvent, and latex digital printers.
• CNC routing, laser cutting, and laminating equipment.
• Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign.
• RIP software and production queue management.
• Colour calibration, profiling, and basic quality checks.
