Marine Base Manager – Offshore Operations

About the role

The Marine Base Manager is responsible for overseeing the safe and efficient operation of marine base activities within the UAE’s offshore sector. This role ensures coordination between vessels, crews, technical teams and external stakeholders to support offshore project delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily marine base and offshore support operations.
• Coordinate vessel movements, crew schedules, marine logistics and operational planning.
• Supervise marine personnel, technical teams and offshore support staff.
• Ensure compliance with HSE policies and maritime safety regulations.
• Monitor vessel maintenance schedules and liaise with technical departments.
• Maintain communication with clients, port authorities, suppliers and project teams.
• Prepare operational reports, maintenance records and project updates.
• Support offshore projects, dry‑dock activities, marine transportation and logistics operations.
• Allocate manpower, equipment and marine resources effectively.
• Respond to operational issues and assist in emergency planning.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Marine Base Manager or senior marine operations role.
• Strong understanding of offshore support services, vessel operations and marine logistics.
• Leadership and team‑management capabilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple marine activities.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Experience in the GCC marine industry is an advantage.
