Munitions Foreman – Senior Crew Chief

About the role

The Munitions Foreman leads the receipt, storage, inspection, transport and maintenance of U.S. Air Force munitions at the assigned site. This senior crew position ensures all operations comply with USAF, host‑nation and contractor quality standards while supervising assigned technicians.

Key responsibilities

• Enforce USAF and host‑nation explosives safety, AFOSH and security standards across all munitions activities.
• Operate Theater Integrated Combat Munitions Systems (TICMS) and MC2, and manage munitions shipments by air, sea and surface.
• Conduct warehouse inventories, reconcile discrepancies and maintain accurate accountability records.
• Repair, recondition and replace defective munitions components and containers.
• Inspect munitions in accordance with technical orders 11A‑1‑10 and 11A‑1‑60.
• Supervise and train Munitions Technicians, evaluate their technical skills and ensure compliance with the Performance Work Statement and ISO‑9001 QMS.
• Perform emergency response actions and coordinate with Munitions Control and the Superintendent.
• Operate and maintain light vehicles, forklifts, pallet jacks, manual hoists and related handling equipment.

Required profile

• Proven experience in munitions handling, storage and transportation within a military or defense environment.
• Demonstrated supervisory experience with a focus on safety and quality compliance.
• Ability to work standby hours and respond to contingency operations.
