Night Auditor

About the role

The Night Auditor at Banana Island Resort Doha ensures the accuracy and integrity of all financial transactions processed during the overnight shift. Working closely with Front Office, Food & Beverage and other departments, the role guarantees a seamless transition of daily financial data to the next business day.

Key responsibilities

• Review, balance and reconcile revenue and payment transactions from rooms, F&B outlets, banquets, spa, recreation and other revenue centres.
• Verify room rates, postings, allowances, adjustments, payouts and rebates against approved policies.
• Balance cash, credit‑card transactions, city‑ledger accounts and accounts‑receivable postings, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
• Prepare and distribute end‑of‑day and night‑audit reports, including revenue reports, trial balances and credit‑card reconciliations.
• Maintain financial documentation, secure records and ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting standards.
• Conduct spot checks of outlets and cashiers weekly and perform monthly revenue, payable and ledger reconciliations supporting month‑end close.
