Onshore Logistics Coordinator

About the role

The Onshore Logistics Coordinator ensures seamless marine, aviation and chemical logistics to support uninterrupted offshore operations. Based in Doha, the role bridges on‑shore supply chains with offshore platforms, handling material deliveries, fuel, and personnel movements.

Key responsibilities

• Support offshore platforms by delivering materials, equipment, spare parts, chemicals, heli‑fuel and personnel.
• Coordinate marine vessel loading/unloading and prepare shipping and aviation documents, including manifests and dangerous‑goods declarations.
• Work with the Supply department to define scopes of work for marine, aviation and chemical contracts.
• Develop and maintain policies governing aviation, marine operations and chemical movements between on‑shore and offshore facilities.
• Manage liaison with Doha Heliport and Ras Laffan Port for vessel and helicopter clearances, pilot exemptions and personnel movements.
• Prepare load lists, supervise vessel loading, compile manifest documentation and verify cargo weights.
• Oversee vessel and helicopter contracts, ensuring contractor compliance and safety briefings for passengers.
• Conduct toolbox talks before each loading/off‑loading operation and verify compliance with certified offshore lifts.
• Schedule daily marine and air operations, monitor weather forecasts and coordinate safety standby vessels.
• Compile daily data on fuel, water, consumables and crew for audit and operational tracking.

Required profile

• Higher National Diploma (HND) in Operations, Maintenance or a related field.
• IMO certification for the transportation and handling of dangerous or hazardous goods by sea (preferred).
• IATA certification for the transportation and handling of hazardous cargo by air (preferred).
