About the role
The Payment Posting Specialist ensures the financial integrity of payment transactions by validating entries, supporting reconciliation processes, and responding to audit queries. Based in Doha, this role acts as the financial authority within the payment operations team and is essential for maintaining accurate financial records.
Key responsibilities
- Validate payment postings and clearing entries.
- Collaborate with reconciliation analysts to resolve mismatches.
- Support internal and external audits with accurate financial data.
- Review and advise on financial controls and process improvements.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in financial operations, accounting, or audit, preferably in a payment‑intensive or ERP‑integrated environment.
- Professional certification such as CPA, CMA or ACCA is a strong advantage.
Required skills
- Payment processing and reconciliation.
- Financial accounting principles.
- Audit standards and internal financial controls.
- ERP systems, especially SAP FI/PSCD modules.
