Procurement Manager

About the role

Nord Anglia Education is recruiting a Procurement Manager for Etqan Global Academy in Doha, Qatar. The role leads and manages all procurement activities across the school, ensuring effective, compliant, and value‑driven sourcing of goods and services that support operational excellence and high‑quality learning environments.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the school’s procurement strategy aligned with school and regional objectives.
• Create annual procurement plans in collaboration with Operations, senior leadership and Finance.
• Drive value‑for‑money initiatives through competitive sourcing, benchmarking and strategic negotiation.
• Lead tendering processes in line with governance standards.
• Negotiate and manage commercial contracts and supplier agreements.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, internal financial controls and Nord Anglia policies.
• Maintain accurate procurement documentation for audit and governance requirements.
• Build strong supplier relationships and monitor performance to minimise operational risk.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure timely sourcing and delivery of resources and services.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance or a related discipline.
• Professional procurement qualification (CIPS or equivalent preferred).
• Minimum 5 + years of experience in procurement, supply chain or commercial roles.
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
• Solid financial acumen and analytical capability.
• Experience working within structured governance and compliance frameworks.
• Understanding of Qatar procurement regulations (preferred).
• Experience in education, hospitality or service‑based environments (desirable).
