About the role

The Math and Physics Instructor works in the General Studies department of Qatar Technical Institute, delivering the curriculum to military students in the first year of a two‑year diploma. The role involves planning and delivering engaging lessons, supporting student success, and contributing to continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality Math and Physics instruction in line with QTI policies and MoEHE curriculum.
• Support military students to achieve academic success and develop subject knowledge.
• Contribute to curriculum development, quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Foster an inclusive, student‑centred learning environment that promotes engagement and critical thinking.
• Collaborate with colleagues and military stakeholders to meet departmental objectives.
• Maintain accurate records, reporting and administrative requirements.

Required profile

• Qualified teacher status or relevant education qualification (e.g., PGCE, B.Ed., M.Ed., MA, BA, Diploma) in Math or Physics or a related field.
• Experience teaching Math and Physics to international students in varied contexts.
• Strong classroom management, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to use teaching and administrative technologies.
• Commitment to cultural sensitivity, professionalism and continuous improvement.
